Sunday, May 21, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Michael Hendron, of San Francisco, will present a reed organ concert at the historic Fayette, Ohio Opera House.  Other events are planned for the weekend.

Michael  has a remarkable  ability to bring great music out of reed instruments.  He played at the Estey Fest in Brattleboro, Vermont last October, and he is also remembered for his playing at the Fest in Fayette in 2004.  Pam Robison, of Missouri, made a great impression in Brattleboro also with her playing of the piano.  She will accompany Michael in some duets.

Reed organs available for the weekend are the Mason and Hamlin 3mp, a Lyon and Healy chapel model, an Alexandre harmonium and some smaller instruments.

Saturday, May 20
Opera House open all day, Hanover Museum and workshop open.  Oberhaus Museum in Archbold will be open in the afternoon.  Sauder Village in Archbold will be open and will feature an antique car meet.

  6:30 p.m. Dinner at the Opera House at a cost of $10 a person.
  7:30 p.m. Informal program upstairs will include volunteer numbers on the instruments, a sing-along, sharing
                 of restoration experiences and a readers’ theatre presentation of a play outlined by Fred Pelton, entitled
                 “A Visitor from Boston.”

 Sunday, May 21
Buffet Brunch at the opera house from 10:00 to 1:00 at $5 a person

  2:00 p.m.  Michael Hendron concert, with Pam Robison at the piano.
