I spent almost 3 years on it. It still has a few problems, the right foot pedal is rotted in one corner and won't hold the screw attached to the bellows strap, so the pedal is unstable. I can't find anything authentic to hold the music doors shut. I have the original knobs and chains, but the pieces that lock them don't work. However, after I had my 1905 baby grand piano tuned, I tested the organ against it, and it is still in tune. This organ was my grandmother's, then my mothers, and she painted it WHITE (*! ) then it sat in our basement when I was a little girl. It went through two floods of 3' high water - so it smelled horrible, musty, rotten, when I finally had it sent to me in Arizona. I do remember seeing the top (and wondering what it was) sitting in my grandma's garage in Michigan when I played in there as a little girl, but they must have dumped it. I still don't know enough about reed organs to answer all the questions on the form. However, now that I am retired and have more time, I will study up. I enjoy the ROS magazine.
