Organ is located in Grapeland,Texas. A little history......... Ester Anna Gable, a turn of the century artist, who helped raise my Dad (Daniel Wolf), ordered this organ in 1900 while living in York, Pa. She was actually given options when she placed the order. There was never a top other than what is showing. When she left Pennsylvania, she carried it with her to Kansas City, Mo, and on to Sherman and Mineral Wells, Texas. Later she took the organ to Houston where she taught painting and music. She finally settled in Orange, Texas in 1908 where the organ was placed in her newly built log house on the Lone Star Ranch, where she spent a lot of time playing. There the organ stayed until 1954 when Dad brought it home in a wheel barrow (we lived next door to the Ranch). My Mother played it for a long time practicing for church services where she played every Sunday. In 1974, Dad gave it to me, (Daniel Wolf, Jr) and it has been in my house ever since.
