Auction Description: A great Swan & Co Melodeon traveling pump organ in original wooden case. Organ features an elaborate wood and metal frame base, which collapses to fit in trunk, with generous lyre detail to sides. Melodeon top comes off and rests on the wood frame beneath. Marked ''Swan & Co., Cherry Valley, N.Y. May 7, 1850''. Traveling case has a rough wood construction and melodeon has a nice glossy finish to wood. DIMENSIONS 32.0" W x 34.0" H x 18.0" D.
