This instrument has an uncommon compass of A to A. Below the C, the 16ft reeds are pitched into the 32ft range. Apart from the rather unusual reeds, this instrument has a wooden stop mechanism. There are very few Jahnert harmoniums to exist.
There are 122 reeds (8.16), which are unusual as they are brass tongues in an alloy matrix - in pairs in the bass.
