The Story & Clark catalog from 1896 shows this is a Style 101. The Ann Arbor Organ Co. bought the S&C organ business in 1899 and continued to make the Style 101 with the Story & Clark name as shown in a ca. 1902 catalog. They named the stops differently than the older S&C organs which indicates this organ was made by Ann Arbor at some point after 1899. (Thanks to Charlie Robison for the research).
The previous owners of this organ acquired it in 1973 from an antique store in Prescott, AZ. It originally had a tall top, but that was removed prior to 1973. It was in playable condition for many years while they lived in southern Arizona and Wisconsin. After they moved back to Arizona (the Phoenix area) it no longer worked — presumably because of the dry climate. This organ was restored in spring of 2022.
