The organ came out of a local Baptist Church which likely bought it new in the mid to late 1950s. It was mostly used for graveside services. It fell into disrepair and was stored in a building with no climate control. The Florida humidity and moisture didn’t help. The organ was given to me and I proceeded to disassemble and restore the instrument. All leather and felt parts had to be replaced, including the pallet valve facings. Exhausters and reservoir were recovered. Exterior of the case was refinished. Organ plays very well on two banks of reeds. Tuning is A440.
