Channel-type reeds, installed upside down and held in place with "L" nails. Reeds NOT stamped with pitch; instead, pitch is written in pencil next to the toe of each reed: "f, x, g, x, a, x, b, c, x, d, x..." etc. Swell shade is a sliding shutter pivoting on a screw at the bass end of the top, moved by the ivory button on the top. Note: The builder is not confirmed but it is likely made by Prescott.
