I received this instrument approximately 50 years ago as payment for some remodeling work I did for a neighbor. It had been stored in the dry attic and was missing the music rack, pedals, actuating rods, pedal support, and various trim pieces. I restored the bellows and refinished the case approximately 1985. I did not notice a serial number at that time. It was in surprisingly good condition--All reeds function, all ivory is good condition. It is the centerpiece in a small sun room in our house. I recently decided to make a new music rack. I have the design from a melodian by the same maker. I also copied the pedals and hanger from that melodian at the time I restored the instrument.
