CROWN ORGAN
ROS Reg No. 6956

The story of this organ goes back 5 generations in my family. It was purchased from a wagon peddler for $25 and some chickens in Fairlie, Texas. I was told by my grandmother that at the time it was purchased her mother was 9 years old which would have been 1903. It was there in the parlor for several years until it was passed down to my great grandmother and moved to Commerce, Tx. From there it moved with the family to Mineola, TX until it was passed down to my grandmother and moved back to her house in Wolfe City, TX. She taught me how to play it and passed it down to me. It is now in my living room in Trenton, Texas. It is a beautiful organ and plays very well.

Various numbers are on the organ including:
60527 stamped into the wood on the back of the case.
97299 stenciled on back of case
4091__[remaining numbers torn off] Action No. [card pasted on action]
12452 written in pencil inside of case
