This organ was bought from an antique shop near Cullybackey, Co Antrim, for just £30, as the shop was closing down!! We were not able to find out its history, apart from its retailer in Belfast, whose label is still attached.
Dealer plate on stopboard reads "R. Young & Co., Pianos, Organs and Gramophones, 42, Bedford St. Belfast."
It is in very decent condition considering it has not been played for many years. It was set up in July 1906 as per the paper label inside. It sounds very presentable, and in 2018 was rehomed to a tiny private chapel near Ballymena.
