The prior owner said that her grandmother purchased this while living in Philadelphia and she eventually inherited it from the family. Based on internal markings, there was some work done on the instrument in 1973 and "minor repairs" in 1994. The music desk is not original, but was cut from the same pattern as the old one (in 1994). It was completely disassembled and rebuilt in summer of 2023 and is back to good playing condition. Pitch is A443.
