B. Shoninger Melodeon Co. Seems to be excessively rare. Was purchased online from a man whose wife's family has owned it for over 100 years. Currently in disrepair; everything is there, though. Bellows need redone and pallets need some attention. Reeds are typical melodeon style reeds and the legs fold. Keys are currently all depressed as pallet spring is not stable and needs to be reinforced. Will hopefully be successfully restored and a reliable travel instrument. Not neglected, just forgotten. Probably stored in an attic or the like. Child's or Salesman's Sample. Estimated to be 1850s or 1860s based on the reeds and other similar instruments.
