The number 485 is stamped into the wood in three places: the keyboard cover, the hinged top lid panel and the top-plank to which the top-lid panel is hinged. The tremolo box has a paper which reads "Parker's Free valve tremolo" and "G W Ingalls & Co, Worcester Mass". My mother was an Ingalls. The name arrived at Salem in 1628, with two brothers from England. The tremolo paper is the only paper in the organ. If it had a Miller paper I see no traces of it.
