It was missing its parlour-top, and had already been painted green when it was acquired by a family member in the 1970's. I think it may have been used as a stage prop prior to that.
My Grandma used it as a telephone table in her hallway for about 35 years, and my siblings and I have fond memories of playing it as children.
I have now taken it in: This time as a TV table!! Sadly it is un-playable at present due to leaking bellows. I do not intend to do a cosmetic restoration, but would like to repair the bellows and return it to a playable condition once I am satisfied I have the space/resources/time to do so (I am a mechanical technician by trade).
