This instrument was purchased new for $45.00 (according to family memory) sometime after the original buyer immigrated to Manitoba from Europe in 1890. It has always been in family homes since then, and is now in the home of the buyer's great grandson. The bellows leak badly so that it needs to by pumped vigorously to play. There has been some amateur bellows repair attempted at some point. The lowest few keys stick and three stop labels are missing. There is no obvious insect or rodent damage. Back of keys signed by factory tuner "11-23-09 Ed Howard". The stop label order appears likely to have been mixed up. Action serial number 1034.
