MANNBORG, THEODOR
ROS Reg No. 5558

Reed organ formerly used in a New Apostolic Church in Hamm/Germany. The organ was modified in 1962 by Beyer Harmoniumbau in Bielefeld, removing the elevated organ top which contained storage room for musical scores. Also, at least the pedals were replaced, possibly the blowers repaired. A second restauration by Beyer took place in 2014, mainly covering the casing. Some valve problems were corrected also. Date estimated from serial number? Bass/treble break at keys 31/32. * denotes a muted stop ** the Äolsharfe includes the Viola aetherea and an additional rank that is slightly out of tone *** the Vox coelestis pulls Viola aetherea and Flüte d''amour (which itself is a muted stop) but NOT the additional Äolsharfe rank, meaning that both can be combined beautifully
