GAVIOLI & CIE.
ROS Reg No. 6250

Located in South Africa. Has 49 notes. I bought the organ at an auction in Paarl, Western Cape R.S.A. in 1961. It stood as ornament in my house all these years. As the bellows was damaged by rats it never worked.
At the moment I am trying to restore the bellows. There are only 4 stops-2 of the faces are missing. In the middle between the stops is a gold colored medallion. Paris Expo. 1867 Bronze medal. The organ has a barrel (no 2043) that played hymns when engaged and a handle turned. The only other number in the organ is 6949. After repairing the Feeder bellows of my Gavioli harmonium I found that the sound box has a bad crack/Split
under the pallets. Most of the notes sound together and I shall not be able to fix it. The main wind chest is also still leaking. I decided to put all the parts together again. The organ could be played as normal. When no organist was available the roll could be engaged and Hymns or other music could be played. .It has 49Keys---F-F 1 manuel and 2 sets of reeds.
