The organ belonged to my aunt who lived in and around Annapolis, Md. I know she owned it in the early 1980s, and possibly much earlier. She kept it in her living room. She refinished the top piece around 1990 and had planned to similarly treat the bottom case.
My aunt gave me the organ in the mid-1990s, and I stored it for about 25 years in a climate-controlled storage unit. The ornamental carving at the very top was damaged in storage around 2015; I have some of the pieces. Since 2020, it has stood in my living room.
The organ plays well, if a bit softly. I have replaced two of the fabric strips on the blower board behind the bottom facade, but have not otherwise repaired it.
